DOUG NASON Douglas Nason is an anthropologist who travels the world to document his passion for the arts using his two favorite mediums - photography and writing. His photography has appeared in magazines such as Islands, Juxtapoz, Barracuda, Los Angeles, International Tattoo Art and H2O and exhibited at La Luz de Jesus Gallery, J. Moore Gallery and appeared in Chris Pfouts' book 'Hula Dancers and Tiki Gods.' Nason is the Author of 'Night of the Tiki: The Art of Shag, Schmaltz and Selected Primitive Oceanic Carvings.' He's the co-owner of Copro/Nason Fine Art Publishing and has worked with artists such as Ed "Big Daggy" Roth, Robert Williams, Liz McGrath, Shag, Mark Ryden and Sandow Birk as both publisher and curator. Nason is currently working on several projects that will feature his photography and writing with the release of his upcoming books 'Rat Fink: The Art of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth' and 'Von Dutch: An American Original.'
