Keith Weesner was born in Long Beach and
now resides in Burbank working as a background designer. Keith is a painter
and illustrator whose work reflects his obsession with cars and vintage

the late 1980's, but has been drawing customized cars from a young age.
His first work of art was a kindergarten finger painting of a purple '50
Ford.
Weez started out in animation at Warner Brothers drawing dramatic backgrounds
for Bruce Timm's Batman and Superman. He also worked on the Mask of the
Phantasm and The Return of the Joker features. He has designed backgrounds
for a variety of studios, including The Power Puff Girls feature at Cartoon
Network, Teacher's Pet at Disney and The New Adventures of Felix the Cat
at Film Roman. Currently he works at Warner Brothers on Justice League.
Now hard at work now on a web site, Keith has taken many of his designs
to the "Kustom Kulture" car show network as t-shirts and posters. He has
designed shirts for others over the years, most notably So-Cal speed shop.
Currently Keith's work appears in DUTCHED!, part of the Von Dutch exhibition
at CSUN. Weez is featured in the current issue of Rodder's Journal and

and Japanese car magazines as an artist and throttle jockey. Most notably
Street Rodder, Custom Car, Car Styling, Cruisin, Daytona and Model Car,
which featured an article on his Hot Wheels designs for Mattel..
