Dave Cooper was born in Nova Scotia, Canada in 1967. He's worked extensively in the field of comicbooks for fifteen years, garnering critical & popular acclaim. His most recent series, "Weasel" for Fantagraphics has won him an avalanche of shiny, jagged awards. Dave also works in the fields of Illustration & Animation, the most notable example of which is as a conceptual designer on Matt Groening's "Futurama." In the past few years Dave has focussed more & more on Fine Art Oil Painting, with clients from New York, to San Francisco, to Australia. the summer of 2002 will be The Summer of Dave, marking the release of two new books, two toys, & three fine art Prints. watch for a double-page spread advertising all these things in the July/August issue of Juxtapoz Magazine!
