(Born, Texas 1969)
Coming from an artistic family, Todd was encouraged early on
to explore art. His mother, an art teacher herself, would enter
him in every art contest in San Antonio and he found himself
placing in every one he entered. After graduating high school,
he found himself lost and not feeling that college was for him
and kept pushing the art angle. In 1991 he was working at a
country club when a artist from Warner Brothers, who was visiting
his mom at the time, came in and saw some drawings. He took
them back to show his boss. Two weeks later Todd received a
call and was offered a position on the second season of Steven
Speilbergšs Tiny Toon Adventures. Since then he has gone on
to work with some of the most influential artist in the animation
field.
His inspirations
come from a wide range of influence throughout his travels to
Europe and S. America. Not having any formal training in painting,
he applies techniques and ideas learned in animation to his
paintings making them unique in draftsmanship and color. Most
of all, the expression, character, and life that comes off of
every painting reveals personality and individual style. His
painting can be viewed in cigar lounges, galleries, and restaurants
throughout Los Angeles.
